Brew Methods
We love coffee. Good coffee. And there are many ways to make it.
Here are a few of our favorite ways.
The POW (Pour Over Wonder)
Grinder in hand:
-
Adjust the coffee grinder to almost the finest setting. If you have a hand grinder, adjust to 1 turn away from the finest. If you have an electric burr grinder, adjust to 2-3 settings away from the finest size
-
Fill the POW with coffee to 2 fingers high
-
Pour water over the coffee until the liquid reaches the top of the filter
-
Allow for the water to drain (about 15 seconds).
-
Refill the filter to the top again and allow for the water to drain
-
Fill the POW again for a total of 5 pours
-
This whole process of pouring should take under 2 minutes
-
ADJUST AND FINE TUNE - Ultimately, you can make the coffee the way you like it, with whatever ratio you prefer, grind size, and strength! Just have fun making the best cup o' Jo you can!
Pre-ground Coffee:
-
Fill the POW with coffee to 2 fingers high
-
Pour water over the coffee until the liquid reaches the top of the filter
-
Allow for the water to drain (about 15 seconds).
-
Refill the filter to the top again and allow for the water to drain
-
Fill the POW again for a total of 3 pours
-
Leave the POW submerged in the coffee for a steeping time of 3 to 5 minutes, depending on preference
